Job Details
Qualified applicants will have a PhD degree in Molecular Microbiology, Immunology, or a related field and 8 years of experience in a laboratory setting, of which two years must be post-doctoral industry experience in immunology. Applicants must possess 8 years of experience with the proper handling and care of mice, general surgical techniques, and the collection of blood and tissue samples; and with tissue culture and in vitro cell based assays. Must possess 6 years of experience with functional cell-based assays and ex-vivo cellular analysis; conducting studies with multicolor flow cytometry on LSRII and/or LSRFortessa machine; and 5 years of experience with molecular biology experience, including DNA and RNA isolation, QRT-PCR, WesternBlot, immunoprecipitation, protein purification, cloning and lentiviral transduction. Must possess 3 years of experience analyzing biological samples on FloJo, FACSdiva, GraphPad Prism, Adobe Photoshop and/or illustrator, Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer, Galaxy, Halo, Softmax Pro, and Image J; and research experience working In collaborative, cross functional teams and must be proficient in recording data in electronic notebooks that will be used for FDA and Patent filings. 2 years of experience with allergy and autoimmune disease models, and subsequent analysis of associate disease-related pathologies by flow cytometry, histology, microscopy, ELISA, and meso scale discovery (MSD) platform. 2 years of experience TH2 mediated diseases, allergy and asthma models, infectious disease models B-cell and plasma cell biology; with high-throughput screening systems, including 96-Well liquidator, aquamax microplate washer, spectramax plate reader and benchsmart 96-Well high-throughput platforms, and animal tissue processing with gentlemacs OCTO dissociator; fluorescence microscopy; developing and optimizing mouse models; processing and preparing samples/libraries for single cell and bulk RNA sequencing, DNA sequencing and ribosome profiling; sort different immune cells and perform cytospin phenotyping analysis. Record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, record of presentations at national and international meetings and experience with teaching/ monitoring. Up to 10% international and domestic travel is required.
