Paragon Bioservices, Inc. (PBI) is a growing Biotech Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with an internationally recognized tradition of quality and service. Paragon Bioservices provides process development and GMP manufacturing services for Phase I/II clinical trials to industry leaders as well as innovative start-ups utilizing novel technologies to produce state-of-the-art vaccines and therapies for people when they are most in need. As a PBI employee, you will actively contribute to the delivery of our services and products to our customers and their patients.

Foundational contributor to the Learning & Development efforts with the focus on establishing/building a comprehensive learning and development resources and program for Paragon focusing on (but not limited to) effective people management, customer interaction, teaming and collaborating, effective work management skills. Works closely with the HR team and internal partners to understand business priorities and design, develop, & implement L&D solutions accordingly. This role is a critical element in ensuring customer facing team members are prepared to successfully execute tactics that support the business strategies.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct learning & development needs assessments across all departments
  • Determine most effective learning method/modality for the purpose, and design, develop & deliver blended learning solutions. (ILT, VLT, E-based, Self-driven)
  • Partner with HR and business to consult on training approaches that support tactical implementation of development strategy. Lead implementation of training to develop and maintain work force effectiveness
  • Design and develop L&D resources and programs that build workforce effectiveness capabilities to optimize the customer experience and support attainment of business goals.
  • Lead platform content development to create and deploy learning solutions.
  • Facilitate learning workshops (live & remote) with skills of assessing learner response, agility in adjusting content and delivery accordingly.
  • Conduct assessment and validation of individual performance. Provide recommendations, coaching and development.
  • Apply principles of adult learning to ensure training effectiveness and access resources to keep up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Share expertise and provide guidance to other sales training team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Recommend and manage external vendors to bring high quality services within the set budget.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • CPLP Certification preferred
  • 10 years human resources &/or Training & Development experience with at least 3 years in the pharma or biotechnology industry.
  • Implementation/Establishment of Training & Development function, curriculum
  • Budget establishment & management
  • Vendor selection & management
