Responsibilities
The Consultant for Lilly BioMedicines Strategy and Operation reports to Sr. Director, Strategy and Operations for Lilly Bio-Medicines Business Unit. The consultant will help develop the Lilly BioMedicines Strategy, Therapeutic Area Strategy, and provide operational support to the Lilly BioMedicines product development, commercial organization and Lilly BioMedicines leadership. The Consultant enables therapeutic area portfolio strategy, quality of decision-making, and supports business plan and strategic plan. In addition, the Consultant will be responsible for supporting the communication and execution of key initiatives for the business unit.

Strategy:

  • Support the development, refinement, and communication of the BioMedicines Business Unit strategy.
  • Participate in the integration of therapeutic area aligned Competitive Intelligence.
  • Support functional alignment and communication of the Therapeutic Area strategy.
  • Lead ad-hoc strategy projects.

Operations:
  • Responsible for supporting the annual Business Plan and Strategic Plan process.
  • Responsible for developing project plans and delivering on project objectives as required by the business.
  • Supporting Executive Committee and Board of Directors communications and business unit specific overview presentations.
  • Responsible for proactive communication and collaboration with other members of Strategy and Operations team to support strong integration of overall pipeline development and Lilly BioMedicines strategy.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business / strategic planning
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
