Senior Level Informatics Scientist in Buffalo, NY
 

AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The informatics scientist will be an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to the establishment and implementation of AMRI’s DNA encoded library (DEL) informatics platform.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement AMRI’s DEL informatics platform
  • Outline necessary workflows and work with providers to develop an end to end solution

  • Work closely with DEL chemists/biologists, compound management personnel and IT personnel to build a robust infrastructure

Job Requirements

  • Minimally a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology with experience in computer science or minimally a bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology and experience in computer applications in drug discovery.

  • 5- 10 years of informatics experience  in drug discovery

  • 2-5 years of experience with DEL informatics platforms

Preferred

  • Experience in electronic lab notebooks or similar informatics solutions.

  • Track record of independently managing the execution of a complex project

  • Track record of managing complex workflows and excellent organization skills
