Supervisor QC Sample Management

*This is a 3rd shift Mon-Fri 11:00 pm- 7:30 am schedule*

Summary: Responsible for overseeing the process of sample management in support of the laboratory quality control testing of in-process, stability, and final drug products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Coordinates with members of PAS, Manufacturing, QA and outside partners to provide technical and managerial support.

• Supervises QC Sample Management staff, oversees work block assignments, and monitors progress.

• Attends meetings to keep informed of development and manufacturing priorities and activities.

• Ensures compliance with applicable cGMP regulations and SOPs.

• Participates in assignment, investigation, and/or approval of Quality Deviations or Corrective Actions (NOE, EOE, DNF, CC, CAPA.)

• Performs personnel management functions including time sheet management, training requirements, personnel development, and performance evaluations.

• Manages all aspects of Controlled Temperature Units (CTU.)

Education and Experience:

• Requires BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. 2+ years previous supervisory/leadership experience in QC Sample Management preferred.
