As a leader of the Miltenyi Biotec technical support team in San Diego, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of the technical support team while also providing direct technical assistance in response to customer inquiries for our full line of cellular and molecular based products. Your personal consultations will range from experimental design to troubleshooting, and the application of Miltenyi products in our customer’s workflow. In addition, you will work in tandem with the sales, marketing, and service teams to represent Miltenyi Biotec at tradeshows, conduct product seminars, and support product demonstrations and trainings. Altogether, your customer-focused understanding and superb level of leadership skills will help Miltenyi Biotec showcase itself successfully and professionally, and as a result grow the sales of the company overall.
• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or a similar field
• Five to seven years’ experience in a technical support and training function; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Solid background in biological sciences, immunology and molecular biology
• Able to travel occasionally

This job is performed in a temperature controlled, handicap-accessible facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in an office environment. Occasionally this job is performed in a variety of facilities. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn.
