General Position Summary/Purpose:

The Training Intern assists in the administration, organization and presentation of company trainings, programs, meetings, and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

· The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining existing training initiatives.

· Training records and LMS (Learning Management Systems) maintenance

· Assisting with, and scheduling new hire training and onboarding

· Researching new learning opportunities and training platforms

· Assist in the use of Mobile Micro Learning Platforms during Trainings

· The Training Intern will also work on Human Resources related projects.


· Must have knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs

· Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management.

· This position requires initiative, motivation, and creativity

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education Requirements (degree, certifications, etc.):

  • Complete at least second year of university studies prior to internship start date
  • Currently enrolled and in good standing at a US accredited college/university
  • BA/BS in scientific discipline is highly preferred, but not required
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent

Final Presentation

Each Intern is expected to prepare a short presentation to their team to share what they have learned through their internship and how they hope their new knowledge will help them secure their future career. Presentations may be approximately 10-15 minutes long and should include visual aid (posters or PowerPoint).
