The Senior Manager, Customer Insights will be accountable for the development of actionable insights across multiple stakeholder groups (HCP, patient and payor) derived from primary and secondary data. This individual will lead primary market research engagements including: methodological design, executing, analyzing, and presenting strategic insights that assess marketplace and stakeholder dynamics and needs, as well as opportunities for Regeneron to deliver valuable products and services. This role will be responsible for integrating both primary and secondary market research as well as internal performance indicators as a means for optimizing customer targeting, messaging and other investments across the commercial organization.

This individual will develop a solid knowledge of the dyslipidemia space, as well as the broader cholesterol marketplace, by monitoring the competitive environment, assessing performance, potential opportunities, and threats, and integrating insights across multiple sources to support sound strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with Alliance market research, advanced analytics, brand management, market access, patient advocacy, finance, medical affairs, and public relations teams in support of the brand strategy and tactical plan.

• Translation of business questions into concise, focused market research objectives and studies that align with clear and specific deliverables.

• Evaluation, selection, and management of vendor partners to execute and deliver on study objectives, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies. Continuously evaluate innovative, best-in-class methodologies and analytic techniques to drive marketing excellence and competitive advantage for the Regeneron commercial organization.

• In-depth analysis and integration of primary and secondary research findings into valued insights, presented to key internal stakeholders and senior leadership via story-telling and innovative practices.

• Coordinate all activities with the Alliance partner.

• Active monitoring and reporting of project financials and contribution to development of short- and long-term budget planning, in collaboration with commercial finance and procurement/sourcing colleagues.

• Maintain internal knowledgebase on insights, analyses and project outcomes.

• Work closely with Customer Insights leadership on special projects and initiatives to build an insights community and drive the departmental objectives.

Requirements:

• Solid track record of success conducting research and/or analytics among healthcare professionals, consumers, caregivers, payers, and other stakeholder audiences in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or biotechnology setting. Knowledge of secondary/syndicated data assets and ability to utilize these tools to inform decision efforts.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills, story-telling capabilities, ability to build rapport and credibility, and consultative skills.

• Results and solutions orientation, shared accountability and transparency, creative problem solving, ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization, effective negotiation and prioritization skills.

• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high quality business results within tight timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing, finance, economics, market research, statistics, or the social, biological, or physical sciences required.

• Pharmaceutical/biotechnology market research experience within vendor partner and/or manufacturer settings.

• A balance of strategic thinking and executing/activating plans.
