  • Collect the needs of BAS functional areas and BAS supporting areas. Work with Management team to establish priorities for LIMS projects
  • Work with end users to develop LIMS project requirements. Complex LIMS configuration to meet end user requirements for LIMS users.
  • Responsible for LIMS documentation, including, converting User Requirement Specifications to a Detail Design Specification, writing configuration Test Plans and summary reports.
  • Configures reports (tabular, trend and labels).
  • Process LIMS change control requests.
  • Review of company documentation including SOPs, Protocols and Working Instructions to assess LIMS impact.
  • Works with LIMS Team and Quality Assurance & Auditing to ensure LIMS is implemented following development life cycle approach.
  • Trains end-users and/or other LIMS trainers.
  • Coordinates with LIMS team members to implement the system in an efficient manner as needed.
  • Provides end-user support for the LIMS including troubleshooting problems at the application server level and support zebra printers.
  • Coordinate the internal and external efforts for outsourced LIMS projects. Work with contractors to ensure projects are successfully completed based on project requirements.
  • Assist in the integration and maintenance of LIMS and ELN interface. If needed, provide the support to the implementation and maintenance of ELN.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a life science with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with LIMS configuration and software development lifecycle methods preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
