- Learning opportunities are abundant: You’ll tackle problems using a wide range of data, including transcriptomics, human genetics, epigenomics, and pharmacology.
- Collaboration is key: You’ll work with our diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, and bioinformaticians to improve the accuracy, automation, and usability of our computational platform. You will create pipelines and spearhead our entire transcriptomics pipeline.
- We value good communication: You will play a meaningful part in authoring pre-clinical study reports and public manuscripts.
- You want to work at a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Your skills can make a real impact on patients’ lives.
Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience with analysis of gene expression data, including RNA-seq.
- Systems biology expertise, a general knowledge of cell and molecular biology, and an understanding of the process of RNA sequencing.
- Demonstrated fluency with both Python and R, including having written your own code for RNA-seq analysis.
- Experience with data analysis and software engineering in Linux/Unix/OSX in a cloud-based environment (such as AWS).
- Familiarity with team-based software engineering tools, including code repositories such as Github.
- Excellent team communication skills and ability to collaborate across our organization.
