Summary
Directs sample management activities for an area of the clinical studies to ensure company timelines are met and objectives are achieved. Coordinates activities within internal groups and external collaborators. Responsible for maintaining GLP compliant laboratory and ensure SOPs, policies and lab safety rules are followed. Manages direct reports for goal setting, task assignment and conducting performance review.
Responsibilities
• Directs sample management activities for an area of the clinical studies. Responsible for communicating priorities and driving multiple projects forward to ensure company timelines are met and objectives are achieved. Coordinates activities within internal groups and external collaborators.
• Works with management to establish and streamline sample management processes to increase capacity and efficiency to support increased number of projects while maintaining accuracy.
• Responsible for maintaining GLP compliant laboratory or area. Authors/revises SOPs to ensure they are current. Ensures SOPs, company policies and lab safety rules are followed.
• Assists in contributions to multidisciplinary meetings. Represents the group effectively to internal/ external contact(s) for specific sample management activities.
• Effectively manages direct reports for goal setting, task assignment and conduction performance review. Hires and develops employees. Assists the Appointing Authority in handling complaints and grievance procedures.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years relevant work experience
• Knowledge and experience of sample management for clinical studies
• Knowledge of GxP regulation related to sample management
• Strong computer skills. Experience with LlMS and ELN will be plus.
• Experience with people management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
