The US Immunoscience Field Medical Strategy Associate Director is responsible is for field strategy, training & effectiveness for the US based Immunoscience field medical team, reporting directly to the Group Director of Immunoscience Field Medical. Partners with US Immunoscience FM leadership to understand FM priorities and FM functional expectations to support effective customer interactions and an efficient FM support model. Serves as a member of the Immunoscience US Field Medical Leadership team.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as an integral part of the Immunoscience Field Medical Leadership team to develop, plan, and execute national strategy, ensure achievement of executional priorities, and drive overall superior performance and customer experience for Immunoscience Field Medical function
• Responsible for medical team integration and alignment of initiatives, field medical communications, field medical tactical execution and maintaining Immunoscience Field Medical training and meetings timelines/schedules
• Lead communication plan with field medical teams, with support from FMCS, as needed, including providing updates and ensuring communications are aligned with overall communication plan for the brand
• Develop and deliver executive presentations
• Actively collaborates with Immunoscience Field Medical Communications Specialist/Medical Capabilities team for training, scorecards, communications, and technology initiatives
• Contributes towards defining Immunoscience FM strategies and objectives and developing short and long term plans for the capability
• Identify, align and leverage resources and solutions across R&D, Commercial and Medical to support Immunoscience FM objectives
• Continuously monitors healthcare landscape and prioritized customers to assess roles and activities in Immunoscience FM
• Collaborates with Legal and Compliance for advice and approvals on field medical activities/materials where needed
• Ensures appropriate policies, procedures and process are defined and communicated with clarity
• Establish and deliver standard measures and reports, and supports analytical needs, monitor Immunoscience field medical activities
• Oversees FM systems and resources providing insights into current and future needs to support business direction
• Develops and implements plans for cross-therapeutic talent retention, assessment and development
• Identify, assess and manage Medical Market Research projects; implement improvements and changes
• Engage field medical team members in developmental projects and activities

Key Competencies:
• College degree required, advanced business or scientific degree preferred
• Must be an innovative, strategic leader with the skills to successfully implement and pull through initiatives.
• Relevant industry experience in Medical Affairs. Experience in a customer-facing role with thought leaders and key customers preferred
• Experience to navigate a complex matrix organization and manage FM lead responsibilities as needed
• Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and organizations; successfully managed large work steams and projects
• Highly organized and motivated individual possessing excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, understanding of pharmaceutical customers, competitors, medical and marketing functions
