Job Details
The Finance Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will provide financial leadership for the financial planning processes for the US Commercial business. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis, recommendations and decision-making support to the Executive Staff by taking into account product line's market dynamics, market share, promotional resourcing, and the related return on investment. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely consolidations of the Plan, Update, and LRP and other special projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the correct accounting and reporting for the Company's debt, investments, financial instruments and capital leases.
- Manage month-end close for these areas, including reviewing and approving journal entries and related schedules (to support consolidations, cash flow reporting, etc.)
- Prepare and/or review key footnote disclosures for External Reporting (10-Q/K)
- Perform technical accounting research and develop recommendations
- Act as subject matter expert for treasury-related accounting matters globally
- Manage a senior accountant
- Identify opportunities to improve / streamline current processes and procedures
- Interact with Tax and Treasury
Basic:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA preferred
- 7 - 8 years of finance and accounting experience (minimum 4 years of accounting responsibilities)
- Ability to learn technical accounting concepts
- Ability to work independently and adjust priorities to achieve accurate and timely results
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate across functions
- Proficient in SAP, HFM and Excel
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and aptitude for continuous improvement and change
