Job Details
Consultant to provide technical writing support. The Consultant will write new procedures, rewrite existing procedures and ensure documents conform to corporate policy requirements. This position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and meticulous attention to detail.
Technical writer responsibilities are:
- Partner closely with project lead to ensure alignment with project objectives, directives, and decisions
- Working with SOPs, Forms, Logbooks, and Master Batch Records in Biologics, and or Pharma industry
- Write, review, modify, route, and manage timelines associated with internal manufacturing documents
- Where applicable, partner with team members to identify issues, formulate recommendations, and propose solutions and incorporate other changes as identified by client. Usability and understanding for multiple audiences, including manufacturing technicians, manufacturing supervisors, document and batch reviewers and regulators
- Must adhere to industry standards, and perform and Bulletproof expectations providing full service tech writing
- Interface with subject matter experts on document content
- Facilitate decisions/actions impacting documentation
- Assist with document review and approval
- Process documents within technical writer turnaround times
Qualifications:
- 3 years' technical writing experience
- Proficient with various in-process analytical methods
- Experience with cGMP manufacturing and documentation standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively organize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
- Ability to communicate in a proactive and solution-focused manner, including keeping management aware of potential issues
- Detail oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Communicate effectively and ability to function well in a team environment
