Senior Manager, Alignments, Sizing & IC

This position will be responsible for executing projects on Field force Alignment, Sizing and Incentive Compensation. The ideal candidate should have hands on technical expertise with various software tools/ methodologies used in the Pharmaceutical industry for Alignments and Sizing such as territory alignment software, promotion response modeling, segmentation, territory workload modeling, etc.
Strong experience in pharmaceutical data such as IQVIA (Xponent, DDD, NPA, NSP, etc), Claims data, and affiliations data is required. Experience with Call Planning, Targeting and IC plan design, modeling / simulation and IC reporting is preferred.
This individual should also be able to execute projects end to end and deliver results timely and with high quality. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills to independently manage customers (Sales leadership teams), stakeholders, alliance partners, juniors, peers and superiors.
Responsible for executing projects on Field force Alignment, Sizing and Incentive Compensation.

Preferable experience in Call Planning, Targeting and IC plan design, modeling / simulation and IC reporting.
Should have strong experience in pharmaceutical data such as IQVIA (Xponent, DDD, NPA, NSP, etc), Claims data, Affiliations data etc.
End to end management of in-line products and new launches from a Field Alignment, Sizing and Incentive Compensation perspective. Complete ownership of workstream. Being able to independently plan, execute and deliver with minimal guidance
Hands-on analytics and modeling utilizing large amounts of data, leverage alignment software, conduct modeling / simulation on Alignment / Sizing such as zip/account alignment, promotion response modeling, behavior segmentation, territory work load modeling, etc. Generate adhoc reports, present to customers and answer questions.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise. Be aware of the industry best practices in all aspects of Territory Design / Alignment, Sizing and Incentive Compensation. Advise Field leadership and management on target segmentation and portfolio optimization based on promotional response modeling and analysis.
Keep abreast of new tools and models that are available for designing territories in the changing biologic market.
Upsteam and downstream Stakeholder Communication- Close interaction with customers (Sales leadership teams), stakeholders (Legal / Compliance Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Brand, Sales Analytics, etc.), team members, alliance partners and vendors
Create alignment scenarios and conduct mapping sessions with field personnel and senior leadership.
Compile, maintain and disseminate Regeneron's database of active and retired ZIP codes. Apply zip code changes and updated workload statistics to sales reps alignments quarterly
Design standardized geographic and account Alignment Change Request documents. Institute processes to reduce information gathering time, minimize number of files processed and increasing quality controls
Manage the distribution, maintenance and training of the alignment mapping software. Train users on alignment best practices. Managed vendor relationships and software licenses.
Lead sales force re-structures providing strategic direction on optimal size, structure, call plan design, incentive design, and placement of associates that minimized disruption, hardships, and retained key talent
Being able to think through strategy and accordingly design Incentive Compensation plans, run modeling / simulation, Field IC reporting and present to customers
Monitor key IDN/payer/organized customer trends and their impact on alignment strategy
Conduct proactive analytics to review optimal field force deployment and utilization, sharing results and recommendations with key stakeholders
Balance local market and geographic dynamics with national territory workload and value standards to ensure viable, workable territories are constructed
Utilize territory alignment software, VBA, SAS, SQL, MS Excel, etc. for design / modeling / simulation
Ensure that all visual and tabular alignments of Territories, Districts and Regions are easy to understand and provide relevant information to all stakeholders
Coordinate communication of alignment updates to all systems owners and field personnel in a timely manner, understanding the sensitive nature of some changes
Field Communication: Roll out full alignment process, as well as, able to explain impact on territory workload, Goals, IC Payouts, etc to the Field - manage Field questions, provide training and resolve issues
Collaborate with Field leadership teams on alignment changes to ensure decisions produce equitable distribution of work and adherence to management's policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to improve and streamline all aspects of territory alignment maintenance ensuring efficient and top quality processes are implemented. Provide ad hoc reports.
• BS required in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferable but not mandatory
• 8+ years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience;
• Minimum 5+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in Alignments and Sizing
• Preferable to have 2+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in Incentive Compensation
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in Xponent Plantrak and Xponent Prescriber Dynamics, FIA, APLD, DDD, and Specialty Pharmacy data
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
