Job Details
This person will work in R&D Planning, Strategy & Operations in Tarrytown, NY. Research Planning and Operations aligns with scientists across all functional areas in R&D to coordinate the operational advancement of projects across R&D. This student will be responsible for the following:
• Help maintain tracking systems, reports and tools to better manage therapeutic candidate project prioritization and workflows across multiple functional groups within R&D
• Facilitate data management (databases and SharePoint environment) to ensure timely and consistent information update, sharing and reporting for targets in the therapeutic candidate pipeline.

• Must be a PostDoc Professional Masters student
• Must have a B.S degree or above (M.S. or ph.D.) in the life science area (biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc)
• Biology and/or related science background a must. Knowledge in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as they apply to the drug development / pharmaceutical industry. Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Experience with SharePoint environment a plus.
• Must be action oriented and organized. Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members with tact and diplomacy. Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities with excellent time management skills (both project and self).
General Intern Program Information:
• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD
• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid
• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)
• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!
• Present to your team on your summer project
