Scientist
SUMMARY:
Generate custom cell lines using genome engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cell line generation using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing
- Develop and optimize protocols for CRISPR experiments and cell imaging methods
- May supervise research associates
- Keep up with new techniques and technologies in CRISPR
REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or closely related discipline, with 3-5 years of relevant experience (ideally at a CRO, or in a production environment)
- Experience culturing various mammalian cell types
- Strong molecular biology skills including gDNA, PCR and RNA isolation and molecular cloning skills
- Experience developing or optimizing scientific protocols
- Ability to contribute to the design and analysis of experimental procedures
