Supervisor Manufacturing Support

Summary . Provides direction/leadership to the Manufacturing Support team and monitors the microbial control of clean room areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following . Manage all aspects of respective areas of operations . Plan, schedule, and provide work direction to team to ensure compliance . Monitor industry trends to ensure the latest in clean room technologies are implemented regularly . Analyze, interpret and report assessment results and recommendations to team members . Prepare reports & review/analyze microbial data by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends for manufacturing areas . Conduct trouble-shooting for support of bioburden/endotoxin excursion investigations . Provide input on long-term planning for the process, staff, and budget . Perform personnel management functions i.e. annual employee evaluations, coaching, disciplining, etc . Support MFG during regulatory inspections to respond to and address microbial issues and solutions . Ensure that policies and procedures are effectively administered and comply with regulatory requirements . Education and Experience . BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field may substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirement, and 3+ years of relevant cGMP experience . BS in Microbiology strongly preferred . 3 - 5 years' GMP or relevant experience required . 1 year experience in leadership role preferred . Knowledge or experience in industrial hygiene desired. Strong interpersonal and effective written and oral communication skills . Demonstrated computer proficiency Microsoft Office, Outlook, intra/internet, databases, etc . Ability to analyze technical and regulatory information and provide recommendations to all levels within the company.
