Job Details

The primary function of this position is to lead / assist with Continuous Improvement Request (CIR) process of Financial Shared Services (FSS), as well as ensure awareness, alignment and prioritization of project activities across the organization and its stakeholders. This position will report to Associate Director, Process Analytics and Continuous Improvement.

Key Responsibilities Includes:

  • Responsible for ensuring that AbbVie Financial Shared Services Continuous Improvement (CIR) process operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead / assist with Annual Plan process for CIR, develop and communicate plan deliverables / timelines, coordinate plan request submissions, prepare plan packages for senior management review.
  • Support Financial Shared Services End to End (E2E) and Cross Functional Filtering (CFF) meetings, serve as the primary contact for Super Delegates and participate in preparing CIR metrics to ensure active participations from all stakeholders and improve transparency.
  • Ensure awareness of project status and issues, facilitate the timely communications between BTS and Financial Shared Services.
  • Prepare and lead CIR review meetings with Global Process Leads and BTS to validate and assess the projects; Prepare and lead PMO meetings to ensure awareness of project progress and issues of interest to the Business Support team.
  • Acts as the system owner for the Continuous Improvements SharePoint application.


Basic:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field is required, Finance or Accounting preferred, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience required
  • Strong meeting organization and leadership skills, strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, with cross functional experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently, drive processes, identify and implement process improvements, establish and adjust priorities to achieve objectives and operate with speed and agility.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT)
