Manager, Project Management Innovative Medicines

Innovative Medicines Project Management is focused on driving new drug development through facilitating cross-functional insight generation and optimizing paths to decisions through expert project management of drug development and the portfolio governance that oversees them.

Working in conjunction with the Project Management Lead, the Project Manager utilizes a variety of project management tools to support high-performing cross-functional asset teams. The Project Manager works with the Project Management Lead and tracks optimal execution against the plan. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining cross-functional project timelines, asset book of work maintenance, preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings, managing SharePoint and other team communication tools, preparing internal team documents, and monthly reports. This position may work across therapeutic areas and with multiple Leads.

Requirements:

• BA/BS required; MBA, MS, or other advanced degree in a physical or natural science preferred
• Five years of pharmaceutical experience with three or more years of relevant industry experience (i.e. clinical development, pharmaceutical development, project management or regulatory affairs)
• Highly organized and motivated individual possessing strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Experience with the drug development process
