Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control review of items such as (but not limited to) study data, notebook entries, study reports, and submission documents.
- Work to ensure departmental compliance/readiness regarding health authority inspection
- Act as the department administrator for Learning Management System. This involves working with R&D Learning personnel to assign training and role-based curricula.
- Act as the department administrator for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This involves organizing/coordinating SOP review timelines and meetings, various tasks within the SOP repository system, etc.
- Act as the department administrator for the secured document repository. Play an active role in the archiving of department files and materials.
- Ensures compliance with and maintains required training in BMS and department GLP, SOP, safety, and other departmental guidelines.
- Ensures that notebooks and other documentation are up-to-date as per departmental guidelines.
- Achieves objectives in a manner consistent with the BMS behaviors.
Key Requirements:
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.) with at least 2 years experience
- Knowledge of GLPs, GCLPs, and other applicable regulations
- Knowledge of electronic notebook and LIMS system a plus
- Good basic analytical concepts (concentration units, pH, calibration curves, QCs, etc.)
- Good basic analytical lab operational skills (pipetting, balances, computer skills, etc.)
- Ability to work in a methodical and organized fashion.
- Ability to read and follow methods or research protocols.
