The Facilities Maintenance and Engineering (FME) Directorate is responsible for laboratory space, administrative space, infrastructure, campus landscape, planning, design, maintenance and construction management at Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.


The Documentation Coordinator II will be responsible for:
  • Tracking and distributing all incoming and outgoing documents, to include construction submittals and RFIs
  • Working closely with the Project Team to ensure timely response is received on outgoing submittals
  • Maintaining an organized filing system for both hard copies and electronic files with all incoming and outgoing documents
  • Preparing letters and memos
  • Scheduling meetings, composing meeting minutes, and maintaining conference room calendars
  • Receiving phone calls, making proper referrals
  • Filing, typing, copying documents
  • Additional administrative support to staff and supervisor

  • Possession of high school diploma or equivalent
  • In addition to education requirement, a minimum of two years of related experience including one year at the level of a Documentation Coordinator I
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Experience with Maximo
  • Experience in construction related document control
  • Experience in facilities maintenance
  • Ability to multi task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of personnel through written and oral presentations
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with management
