This person will work in Research & Development Planning, Strategy & Operations in Tarrytown, NY. Research Planning and Operations aligns with scientists across all functional areas in R&D to coordinate the operational advancement of projects across R&D. In this role, the student will be responsible for the following . Help maintain tracking systems, reports and tools to better manage therapeutic candidate project prioritization and workflows across multiple functional groups within R&D . Facilitate data management databases and SharePoint environment to ensure timely and consistent information update, sharing and reporting for targets in the therapeutic candidate pipeline . Identify opportunities for improving best practices and/or workflows for a functional area or project team . Start building your skills at Regeneron . Must be a PostDoc Professional Masters Program PPM student . Must have a B. S degree or above in life science area Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc . Knowledge in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred . Must have a basic knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as they apply to the drug development / pharmaceutical industry . Must be proficient in advanced techniques within the Microsoft Office suite MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc and sequence analysis software/databases ie . Macvector, Sequencher, Uniprot, NCBI . Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus . Must be action oriented and organized. Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members with tact and diplomacy. Must handles multiple projects and priorities with excellent time management skills both project and self General Intern Program Information . Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD . Summer Program is full-time 40 hrs/wk for at least 10 weeks and is paid . Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community . Minimum GPA of 3. 0 . You will work with a specific manager on a project s . Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events . learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more .
