Responsibilities
Key Objectives/Deliverables
Implement effective administrative and operational support for Lilly BioMedicines (LBM) content management, leveraging Microsoft O365 tools (SharePoint, Forms, PowerApps, Teams, etc.)
  • Understand the needs and requirements of the LBM business and provide strategic consultation to LBM functions in consult with Lilly IT groups to understand how to implement and maximize the value of content management tools, solutions and processes
  • Influence LBM stewards to utilize the Protect Lilly Content Management Framework and standardized content management practices:
    • Work closely with the Protect Lilly business advisor(s) to ensure LBM content adheres to the protect Lilly guidelines for CCI
    • Consult with content managers in other areas and IT to understand best practices and incorporate them into LBM
  • Anticipate, identify, and communicate the impact, risks, and trade-offs associated with evolving business solutions to leadership
    • Support the development and execution of the LBM content management strategic vision for its portfolio by endorsing the use of applicable best practices and ensuring consistency across LBM functions
  • Oversee, lead, tailor and maximize content management processes, O365 tools and automation to meet the needs of the business. This may include creating guidelines, training, and advising stewards on appropriate use of such for functional area needs
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues for stewards of content management repositories to ensure business continuity and functionality during corporate implementation of new software versions, upgrades, and patches, such as O365
Establish and implement effective customer service:
  • Identify training gaps and adapt existing or create new materials to address them
  • Receive tickets for new site requests from the Content Management hub specific to LBM and deliver high quality sub sites on timely basis
  • Generate and tailor metrics/reports to leadership to ensure needs are being met
  • Establish a cross-geographical, cross-functional Community of Practice for content management to understand evolving business needs, share best practices, reinforce training and convey relevant content management principles and practices to LBM functions
Improve productivity and drive organizational standards:
  • Champion the novel use and application of content management O365 tools to deliver effective solutions and lead solution implementation across LBM
  • Design and develop automated business practices and integrate with end users to streamline content management processes and maximize efficiency while securely sharing information
  • Utilize training, reporting/metrics and audits to ensure alignment with Protect Lilly, content management best practices, version control and document retention procedures
  • Propose process improvements and drive alignment with business priorities
  • Ensure timely and periodic review, update or removal of information by content owners to ensure business relevance

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 Years of directly relevant experience in content management.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.


Additional Skills/Preferences
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry work experience and/or drug development experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, documenting and championing strategies and roadmaps
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a content management role with strong knowledge of Protect Lilly frameworks, content management guidelines, and Microsoft O365 tools (SharePoint, Forms, PowerApps, Teams, etc.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage workload, set priorities, and handle competing priorities with significant personal responsibility
  • Strong project management/organizational skills with the ability to track project details as well as understand high-level strategic components
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the needs of the business and drive the creation of impactful solutions that address those needs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to complex, analytical problems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence (without authority and at a distance) leaders to create and drive initiatives yielding value and competitive advantage
  • History of balancing tactical efforts with longer term vision
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work independently across a myriad of projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure

  • Previous experience in communications is a plus, but not required
