KindredBio is a veterinary biopharmaceutical company dedicated to saving and improving the lives of companion animals. We are looking for a highly driven individual who will thrive in our results-oriented, fast-paced environment. This is a remote position.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with and supports small animal veterinary specialist sales team as needed by providing sales training, technical support, answering veterinarian inquiries, and attending and working at veterinary conferences
  • Works with and supports small animal veterinary specialist sales team by riding with sales reps and attending sales calls with key veterinary accounts, veterinary client educational events (lunch and learns, dinner meetings), and supports local CE events (speaking)
  • Supports veterinary distribution efforts with training, technical support and building relationships
  • Works closely with Sales Managers to provide feedback and evaluations of all small animal veterinary specialists to promote growth and strength of the sales team
  • Helps sales team make budget decisions based on veterinary industry knowledge and impact
  • Provides veterinarians and cat, and dog owners information as requested in the following areas:
  • Proper product use, extra-label use, technical information, literature requests, adverse events and unexpected responses to treatment, perceived lack of efficacy and product or packaging defects.
  • Stays current with SOPs and Policies, current regulations and product technical knowledge
  • Promotes and develops relationships with key veterinary opinion leaders (KOLs) Engages with veterinary Advisory Board members at annual meeting and sub meetings
  • Promotes and supports the veterinary student programs at major universities
  • Creates technical bulletins and PowerPoint presentations in response to sales and marketing needs
  • Develops and gives seminars or presentations, and lectures at veterinary clinics, schools, and associations as needed and/or requested
  • Participates in product launch teams where needed
  • Reviews labeling, website content, and social media as needed by marketing and sales
  • Provides communication (telephone, email etc...) to veterinarians, veterinary support staff, employees, animal owners and producers about product inquiries, quality complaints, and suspected adverse events that may arise by usage of or experience with KindredBio products
  • Supports complaint investigations by asking appropriate questions
  • Supports veterinary customer service related to PV reports including diagnostic and treatment advice to veterinarians and cat and dog owners
  • Participates in veterinary clinical development or post-marketing studies as requested
  • Reviews and assesses opportunities for veterinary acquisitions or veterinary product licensure as requested  

Qualifications/Skills required:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is required Board certification and specialty licensure preferred
  • At least 3 years of small animal clinical experience
  • At least 3 years of small animal technical service experience in the veterinary industry  
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time including overnights, weekend and long-distance travel within the U.S.

  • Publication history preferred
  • Clinical trials experience preferred
