QC Analytical Specialist

Summary . Support the QC analytical Sciences, Process Sciences, and Manufacturing, departments through the development, optimization, troubleshooting, transfer and application of analytical test procedures, and clinical product testing as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following . Design and execute studies . Forced degradation experiments for BLA support. Assay qualification. Molecule characterization. Assay Transfers . Provide laboratory support for . Product Failures. Troubleshooting established test methods used in development and release testing. Troubleshooting process or formulation problems . Evaluate, interpret and tabulate, and report data for executed studies including forced degradation, assay qualification, molecule characterization, assay transfers, and assay development . Present project work in clear and concise manner to group and at interdepartmental meetings . Maintain lab supplies and equipment. Support other laboratory organization tasks . Produce and maintain accurate records . Assist in writing SOPs for new analytical methods and updated methods and provides drafts of SOPs to QC for review. Knowledge and Skills . Strong instrumental analysis background preferred with a broad range of chromatographic and spectroscopic analytical techniques such as LC-MS, HPLC, and UPLC . Excellent written and oral communication skills . Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines . Ability to organize and maintain accurate data or information . Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience . Hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills required . Ability to work alone or in group settings . Education and Experience . Requires BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related field and 2+years' of related experience or AAS with 4+ years' related experience Level will be determined by education and experience.
