Summary . The AD of Training Operations is responsible for effectively managing a team of project managers, LMS administrators and Training Coordinators to ensure they are meeting the day-to-day training operational support needs of the business. This includes assessing training needs, determining the best delivery formats, coordinating facilitation efforts, ensuring that project deliverables are on time and within budget and measuring/reporting outcomes. Additionally, this new position will be responsible for implementing a new learning management system, driving standardization with our GxP training curriculum and overseeing the technological infrastructure and content to support the overall Global Development Training strategy. Job Duties . Drive Training Quality and Compliance and Improve Performance Through Collaboration with Internal and External Partners . Collaborate with Quality Training Lead to build and implement training standards, systems and best practices for content creation, curation, distribution, archiving and ongoing maintenance . Remain in sync with related departments such as Process and Procedures , Global Development Systems and Change Management to ensure training operational support services meet/exceed stakeholders expectations . Work closely with the Global Dev Quality Training team to ensure that SOP training is mapped to the appropriate roles in LMS . Assist with audits and inspections including representation for training during discussions as appropriate . Identify opportunities and more effective ways of working with internal stakeholders Training Business Partners, Process and Procedures and Global Dev Training Quality lead . Work with Training Business Partners to ensure we are partnering with content providers/3rd party vendors who will deliver solutions that add value to our stakeholder base, as well as ensure we can technically integrate their content into our learning platforms. Improve Performance Through Project Management . Monitor deliverables, performance, and results and regularly communicate status to the Global Development Training Lead . Work with Global Dev Training Lead to prepare and present a Quarterly Business Review of Global Development Training to key stakeholders which tracks delivered results, status of key projects, and proposed strategic changes . Manage the project budget and lead negotiations with 3rd party vendors and reconcile spending against budget . Maintain training systems and processes to continually monitor standards, e.g. identifying risks, bench-marking, audit, and prepare and implement action plans to improve quality of training solutions that support SOPs . Develop and continually manage an integrated training calendar for key initiatives Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Technology Solutions . Partner with Global Development Systems and Tech Training teams to ensure that all technical components of E-learning and LMS initiatives are used effectively and meet the needs of Global Development associates . Evaluate and implement technology such as web conferencing, self-authoring and performance support tools that will maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of how training is delivered across Global Development . Provide technical support for virtual training sessions using Adobe Connect and other web technologies . Raise the level of training excellence through continuous improvement in technology and method. Drive Training Quality and Compliance Through Training Measurement and Reporting . Analyze and act on information to proactively manage standards, training activity reports and action plans for all learning and development activities across all functions within Global Development . Collaborate with Process and Procedures and Global Development Quality lead to address issues arising from risk reports/audits/inspections etc , and when and where appropriate provide reporting through LMS . Support the development of quizzes, attestations, and certifications in LMS . Provide timely and accurate reports to key stakeholders on all GxP Training . Requirements . Experience in the areas of business development, learning consulting, program management, learning design . Experience as a thought partner and trusted advisor with leaders in the business . Able to think strategically and operationally, making sound business decisions . Track record of working effectively with multiple stakeholders, who may have competing priorities . Scoping work and tracking multiple, complex projects . Experience networking across a broad variety of stakeholders, both internal and external . High level of consultative, influence, and decision-making skills .
