Manager, US Medical Operations, Hematology/Oncology

We are seeking a Manager, US Medical Operations Hematolgy/Oncology to join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA.
In this role you will be directly responsible for the planning and execution of all project related activities carried out by US Medical Therapeutic Area team and facilitate the cross functional preparation, implementation and facilitation of projects related to US Medical. This role also:
*Provide strategic planning, operational and logistical support to ensure smooth tactical execution of US Medical activities within assigned TA.
*Serve as a strategic thought partner to TA Lead
*Proactively identify and resolve issues within the function and with other functions
*Support goal setting initiatives and track deliverables, implement and monitor metrics and dashboards.
*TA point of contact and coordination for key meetings (e.g., TA Leadership, Medical Launch Readiness Review, Local Product Strategy)
*Responsible for leading periodic updates of project plans to monitor progress
*In partnership with Budget & Resource Management team, support TA teams on budget and resource planning, coordinate forecasting of team budgets for planning cycles, LEs and LRPs.
*Partner with department Budget Coordinators to drive contract and invoice execution.
*Identify, lead, or contribute to initiatives/process improvement opportunities
*Maintain TA plans including key deliverables for year.
*Coordinate grand rounds and executive advisory council activities
*Supports external partnerships and engagements
*Maintain USMO Therapeutic Area Website
*Support departmental processes in partnership with business process owners.
*Facilitate cross functional process improvement initiatives, as needed.
*Drive effective decision making within the TA
*Other US Medical specific projects assigned by supervisor or TA Head
Master's degree and 2 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience
Masters of Science or MBA
Experience in Medical Affairs
