The Manager, Integrated Master Data supports AbbVie's strategic goals by leading integrated (cross-functional) Master Data activities in support of AbbVie's global ERP landscape. This role will span the different master data functional domains (Material, Finance, Customer, and Vendor) to drive process improvements and efficiencies. This individual liaises with business process stakeholders across organizations and geographies to build, sustain and leverage master data across the enterprise. A key activity for this role will be to drive the "right first time" setup of master data for Stock Transport Orders (STOs). The Steward performs day-to-day processes, as beneficial and in alignment with the Master Data Director, the Master Data Stewards, business leaders, Global Process Leads, and site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • Identifies and drives cross-functional master data process improvements.
  • Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves cross-functional master data issues.
  • Supervises the STO master data setup process to ensure it is operating optimally.
  • Demonstrates with appropriate performance metrics. Coordinates with Supply Chain, Finance, Record to Report (RTR), and other stakeholders to support the translation of new Product Financial Flows (PFFs) into master data setup activities.
    Interacts significantly with the Master Data Director, Stewards, business representatives, and ERP and DSP solution team leadership.
  • Facilitates cross functional meetings with various global stakeholders and end-users.
  • Develops and delivers trainings, presentations, workshops, and group communications.

Position Accountability / Scope
Indicate the reporting relationships, products, budgets, throughput, level and purpose of contacts (internal and external), or other scope measures that are key to this position.

  • Reports directly to the Director, Master Data
  • Creates VP-level presentations and dashboards
  • Workflow/Process - Oversees the STO master data setup process. Defines and oversees enterprise adherence with consistent master data workflow.
  • Training - Ensures training materials are updated and delivered to new users.
  • Client Relationship Management - Establishes and maintains appropriate relationships with management and various stakeholders, including but not limited to ERP teams and business process owners.
  • Change Management - Engenders organizational change across functional and geographical areas ensuring successful implementation of master data and related practices. Specifically addresses integration of new data sources from mergers and acquisitions.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT).
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Program management experience running multiple projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience in enterprise-level project management communications.
  • Experience with Finance and Material (Product) SAP Master Data strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP Supply Chain processes preferred.
  • 5+ years of operational experience with specific knowledge of master data governance, data quality, and/or related business processes.
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred.
