Job Description:

This Product Manager will play a key role on the Endocrinology brand team, supporting the development, creation and execution of strategic and tactical plans in support of Increlex® and Somatuline Depot .

The candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to effectively communicate with the sales team.

The candidate will also be responsible for managing a promotional budget and working with agency partners on the development and execution of promotional materials and programs to help achieve brand goals.

The product manager will work with the internal Promotional Review Committee (PRC), global marketing colleagues, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of key projects and tactical plans.

Essential Functions

  • Manage programs that communicate the differentiating attributes of Ipsen's Endocrinology products.
  • Under the direction of the Sr. Director, participate in the development of marketing plans, strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize business analytics as appropriate to establish KPIs and ROI analyses on select programs; make recommendations to improve program performance, when needed.
  • Work closely with Endocrinology team members and external partners to understand market insights that identify/confirm key business needs.
  • Implement messaging and materials that support the brand strategy.
  • Support the development and execution of highly effective sales training workshops, utilizing marketing materials, messages, insights, and targeting/segmentation data.
  • Work closely with Meetings and Conventions Team and sales force to develop and execute a coordinated, cross-functional plan for achieving company objectives at medical conferences.
  • Work closely with agency partners to conceptualize, develop, and execute all promotional materials and programs that are delivered by the sales team and through non-personal promotions.
  • Manage the development and implementation of multi-channel patient relationship marketing campaigns for Endocrinology brands.
  • Assist with the development and execution of patient advocacy-related initiatives to help drive internal and external awareness of Endocrinology brands.


Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university.

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Pharmaceutical ,Endocrinology, or Specialty Pharmaceutical Marketing experience required.
  • HCP, patient, and digital marketing experience preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales or other pharma experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to successfully work in a cross functional team, and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve key milestones and business objectives working with peers and colleagues with and without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage a promotional budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills; ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization; strong presentation skills required.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated strong organization skills: time management and project management.
  • Ability to travel overnight, by automobile and mass transportation (less than 20%).
