Responsibilities
The Medical Affairs, Scientific Slide Coordinator is aligned therapeutically and works with global launch teams and affiliates to facilitate the process work flow for creation, review, approval, and storage of scientific slides in appropriate repositories or systems (including but not limited to Slide Source, MedVA, Veeva Vault).

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the coordination of on-time, integrated delivery of scientific slides/ slide modules in collaboration with business partners.
  • Facilitate the process work flow for review, approval, and storage of scientific slides in appropriate repositories or systems (including but not limited to Slide Source, MedVA, Veeva Vault).
  • Support the launch teams/affiliates to facilitate overarching view of therapeutic area, disease state, compound, available data, customer questions, life-cycle and external environment (including competitors) to contribute to the strategy / planning / execution scientific slides/slide modules. Partners may include:
    • internal medical leaders, including medical launch leaders,
    • internal physicians/scientists
    • medical education
    • publication coordinators
    • statisticians
    • health outcomes
    • other external-/internal-facing team members (medical science liaisons, medical information, etc.), and/or
    • writers
    • vendors
  • Ensure plan is globally integrated and executable (e.g. interdependencies of disclosures are managed, inputs and outputs are clearly delineated, resources are identified)
  • Execute global slide plan: Communicate, collaborate, and negotiate with team leadership to maintain focus and awareness of potential delays, problems, gaps of information, cross functional resourcing issues, expectations, project steps, milestones, and deliverables to effectively manage the document process / progress.
  • Manage execution, additions or changes to the plans, which may include leadership of applicable forums to review and discuss operational plan (i.e. Slide Governance Committee Meeting), including managing requests made from affiliates and how to incorporate those into global plans.
  • Collect and report metrics to track progress
  • Apply project management concepts to optimize delivery
  • Maintain broad knowledge of applicable resources; able to access and integrate data and information from various sources and technologies to address customer needs.
External Service Provider Management
  • Build / manage relationships with external service providers
  • Provide oversight on deliverables, including project management, timeline management, delivery of feedback and issue management and quality control.
  • Collaborate effectively with management / team to develop a feasible sourcing strategy to deliver plan including identification and selection of appropriate external service provider.
Slide Delivery: Preparation / Deliverable Management
  • Plan, write, edit, review and coordinate the delivery of slide content while adhering to Lilly guidelines. Not excluding localization of global slides for affiliate use or assisting affiliates in local slide needs.
  • Conduct effective document initiation meetings to ensure team alignment and understanding
  • Ensure and coordinate quality checks for accuracy, collates reviewer's comments, adjusts content of document as required based on internal/external input, and prepares final version.
  • Work with teams to ensure smooth and timely development of documents.
  • Influence or negotiate change of timelines and content with other team members.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
