The Enterprise Systems group (BES) oversees the strategic vision and implementation plan for IT systems and solutions for the enterprise at Leidos Biomedical Research, the operational information and data systems support to Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Systems group is looking for a Business Analyst that can provide Business Process Engineering and enterprise application administration. Our Enterprise Systems group is responsible for enabling the operational directorates across the NCI-Frederick with IT solutions, identifying business processes and requirements that can be automated with sound technical solutions. Working closely with the Information Security team, we assure full life-cycle solutions that drive efficiency and support the research programs.

Specific roles and responsibilities could include:
  • Enterprise Business Analyst:
    • Discovery and documentation of business requirements
    • Work with Enterprise Architects to perform market study and identify technology solutions
    • Work on technology solution implementation teams, providing requirements, project documentation and testing
  • Application Administrator:
    • Manage user accounts for enterprise applications, i.e., Costpoint, time sheet system
    • Trouble shoot and provide application support to enterprise users
    • Work with COTS vendors to troubleshoot and remedy application issues
    • Manage application updates
  • Assist on other projects as needed, perform other related duties and special projects as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education).
  • Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
  • In addition to educational requirements, a minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible job related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Three years of relevant experience:
    • Eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements
    • Analysis of alternatives, source selection
    • Implementation and validation testing
  • Requirements management to include creation
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis
  • Experience with Facilities Management or Environmental Hazards Management processes
