The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting Global Freight payment process and resolution working cross-functionally and partnering with Supply Chain Logistic organizations, external carriers and third party freight payment companies. The SFA will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support for accounting, financial planning and analytics with respect to monthly close and actuals, forecast updates, planning cycles and long range plans.
The SFA role will be exposed to complex International accounting and financial processes impacting Global functional areas including Commercial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Transfer Pricing, and Trade Compliance, etc.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, execute and monitor ongoing Global Freight payment automation process.
  • Closely coordinate with internal and external business partners to develop and implement innovative automatic payment resolutions.
  • Influence multiple key initiatives and special projects providing financial leadership and support.
  • Provide financial leadership and support for accounting, financial planning and analytics with respect to monthly close and actuals, forecast updates, planning cycles and long range plans.
  • Coordinate and support Global Transportation PO process and ongoing review.
  • Coordinate and support ongoing Freight Standard Rate table and various cost improvement projects.


Basic:

  • At least 4-6 years of finance/accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills. Strong business partnership skills.
  • Ability to communicate as well as influence through relaying complex data in simple terms.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Corporate Financial Manual (CFM) and the ability to apply the correct policy to business issues.
  • Proven ability to turn raw data into actionable intelligence.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in systems, particularly MS Excel/PowerPoint. TM1 and SAP experience a plus.
  • Innovative with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual must be self-motivated, be able to work independently and adjust priorities as needed.

Education / Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree B.S. or B.A. in Business (Business/Accounting/Finance). CPA/CMA/MBA desired.
