Summary
The Director, Pricing and Contracting Analytics will play a lead role in establishing a best-in-class analytics capability focused on pricing and contracting within Regeneron to support the commercial organization. The role includes providing leadership and analytical support to evaluate payer, provider and trade/distributor pricing and contracting strategies, as well as contract operations, including rebate administration and performance tracking. The Director will work closely with commercial heads (Marketing, Market Access, Account Management etc.) to provide support in translation of the strategy into operational action across the Regeneron Portfolio.

Responsibilities
Provide Analytics support for establishing contracting strategies for all payer channels, gaining approval, implementing strategies and proposing corrective actions as market dynamics change
Estimate impact on ASP, FAMP, Best Priceetc.
Establish key performance indicators, building performance dashboards, analyzing performance and recommending corrective actions to drive contracting initiatives resulting in growth and maintain GTN and profitability
Partner with the Market Access accounts teams to develop payer strategies, manage contracts and address account specific contracting opportunities and collaborate to explore expanded market opportunities
Partner with Legal to ensure that all contract terms and language are accurate and fully compliant.
Work closely with the Sr. Director, Pricing to monitor market conditions, changes in laws and regulations and perform analytics to quantify the implications of such changes to the Regeneron portfolio
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Government Pricing, Compliance and other departments to establish consistent business rules and "playbooks" focused on appropriate reporting and compliance with all laws and regulations.
Work closely with Pricing Operations to build a pre/post contract analytics tool, metrics and dashboards
Initiat and drive strategic projects across the payer segments: channel segmentation strategies, to support pull-through strategies and supporting tactics
Build and manage pricing and contracting SOPs, cross-functional consensus and approval process
Develop and manage a small team responsible for contracting operations and analytics

Requirements
Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred
Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience required - particular focus on Specialty / Rare Disease
Extensive knowledge in the areas of pharmaceutical pricing, contracting, market access accounts, government pricing
10+ years of experience and technical/functional expertise in several of the following areas: financial analysis, account management, pharmaceutical reimbursement, payer contracting and analytics
Strong analytical and project management skills required; including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Experience with cross-functional, large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines
Must possess very strong analytical and communication skills
Strong problem solving and strategic thinking
Experience developing financial /pricing/ contracting models in Excel required
Strong analytical and project management skills required; including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Ability to work creatively and analytically with confidence in a problem-solving environment
Experience working in an Alliance preferred.
