The position reports to the VP for Pricing and Economics, Contracting and Government Reporting (PECG) and is responsible for driving the strategy and development of analytics capabilities and optimization of business processes for the U.S. Pricing & Economics, Contracting and Government Reporting organization. This position plays a key role in defining and building key capabilities for the PECG organization that will enable agile business processes, enhance data driven insights, and drive a culture of excellence, efficiency and responsiveness.


Works closely with the VP for PECG and interfaces with the PECG leadership team to define and build PECG's data and analytics capabilities

Defines needs and develops data analytics and capabilities that enable data driven insights on the U.S. market access landscape

Leverages data driven insights on the BMS portfolio of products for the government and commercial market access landscape and supports PECG leadership in developing impact analyses for evolving healthcare policy, payment and reimbursement environment

Provides support for financial impacts and supports the gross to net forecasting activities for commercial and government segments

Works closely with the PECG leadership team to define, enable and drive process improvement, automation, standardization and simplification

Leads processes to identify and define process improvement and simplification opportunities that enable more agile operations enhanced strategic insights and analytics

Leads development of contract performance dashboards to quickly assess current contract performance and inform future contract terms

Leads initiatives across the PECG organization to identify data, process and system limitations

Liason with IT organization to define and build data warehouse and data analytics needs capabilities

Liason with IT regarding system current and future systems capabilities


Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree (MBA) preferred

Pharmaceutical and/or Healthcare industry experience (5+ years)

US healthcare pricing and contracting data analytics experience (3+ years)

Exceptional data, systems and technology knowledge and experience

Healthcare policy modeling experience

Predictive analytical modeling experience

Experience leading and collaborating with broad matrix team partners including Pricing & Economics, IT and Finance

Ability to develop complex analyses and provide timely, strategic insights

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional analytical capabilities and communications skills

Proven ability to both perform in-depth analytical analyses and to communicate these results in a simple, clear and concise manner to executives

Exceptional initiative, teamwork and ability to work independently

Government price reporting experience
