The Immuno- Oncology Nurse Liaison (IONL), will be responsible for the education of nursing professionals in the field of Immuno-Oncology. The IONL will be serving in a field-based role to provide education to nurses caring for patients receiving Immuno-Oncology treatments, with a special focus on the management of immune-mediated adverse reactions (IMARs) and disease state.

Primary Responsibilities

Work in partnership with the field sales and field medical teams to identify community clinics with educational needs and will be responsible for delivering appropriate, approved educational in-services to support these needs within the assigned Region.

Identify, collect and communicate insights on trends and changes affecting the delivery of care.


Focus on specific educational needs of the teams based on a solid understanding of how patients interact with the health care system and the potentially available and relevant patient support resources and tools.

Will provide clinical education to support the safe and appropriate use of BMS Products.

Must be versed in emerging IO management trends and patient monitoring with the ability to engage and inform customers.


BSN required; Advanced Oncology Nurse highly desired

In depth knowledge of Oncology

Understanding of the US Healthcare System, the pharmaceutical industry and clinical and health economic practices in the US

Position is field based with 60-80% travel required

Chemotherapy infusion experience preferred

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Patient and peer education experience preferred
