You have an opportunity. To bring your creativity, innovative approach and energy to help bring the best medicines to patients. Lilly has novel medicines for the treatment of migraine and rheumatology, and your work will be instrumental in bringing our medicines to patients. You will also be able to learn more about the exciting and dynamic world of the pharma industry, by working in both our marketing and medical departments. Digital technology and multichannel engagement is rapidly changing, and our commercial and medical activities need to reflect this dynamic landscape. Lilly wants to be the leader in this new approach, and we know you can play a big part in this change. The successful candidate will be inspired by the challenge and look to new initiatives to incorporate innovative approaches in all aspects of our business to best position our migraine medicines in the future.

You will have broad exposure to different business areas within Lilly and will gain a rich experience in the pharma industry.

What you can expect:

Specifically the OBI Intern is responsible for:
  • Managing and updating our medical databases
  • Expanding our understanding of telemedicine and virtual doc initiatives in Canada
  • Contributing to our understanding of how patients move through the healthcare system in Canada
  • Assisting the brand team to maximize the multi-channel engagement programs for health care professionals (HCP) in rheumatology
  • Assisting the brand team to manage references in our platform for medical, legal and regulatory approval for key projects
  • Supporting the brand team on project management for the gated online portal for HCPs, LillyPro

Basic Requirements: Education and Experience
Who we are looking for:
Education and qualifications
  • Must have graduated, within the last 3 years, ideally from a research-based Masters or PhD program in neuroscience or a related field.
  • Must not have been previously supported through the Ontario Brain Institute Internship
  • Learning agility, collaborative approach, team player attitude
  • Flexibility to work in different functions: marketing/ medical/ digital/ communications
  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of digital communications, website design
  • Prefer familiarity in headache/neuroscience therapeutic area
