We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to establish new techniques to identify cell surface receptors that can be targeted for ligand conjugated antisense oligonucleotide delivery. Using receptor targeting approaches we have improved selective delivery of antisense therapeutics to liver and pancreas. Research findings from this position will increase our understanding of antisense oligonucleotide uptake pathways and aid in the development of drug designs to improve delivery to a specific tissue, including the central nervous system.
