Project Description: The Continuous Improvement department is responsible for identifying and executing against strategic performance improvement opportunities, supporting successful implementations within the enterprise, and building people capabilities within Regeneron, using contemporary performance improvement methods. This team relies on metrics and data analysis to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.

This project will be a deep dive into the drivers impacting incoming statistical request workflows. Data modeling and time series analysis will be used to analyze the current workflow process. Predictive modeling and regression analysis techniques will be used to identify hidden patterns and systemic relationships that can be used to predict future workflow. These new insights will lead to the development of recommendations/creative solutions that will be used to:

• Better understand internal workflow drivers.

• Anticipate future demands on the team.

• Identify opportunities for improvements.

The intern will work under the guidance of a statistician. Additional opportunities for internal statistical consulting of fellow interns may be available based on educational background.
Desired Majors and/or Skills:
- Statistics, Mathematics.
- Statistical Software (e.g. JMP, Minitab, SAS, R).

Desired Education Level:
- Rising Senior or Master's in Statistics/Engineering Candidate.
