Project Description: Currently, REGN is lacking a model to represent and enable deeper understanding of the mixing processes for Formulated Drug Substance (FDS). The intern will develop a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model of the FDS mixing process to represent mixing performance in both small scale and large scale manufacturing equipment, and will validate the model through testing and the output of experimental data. Intern may also support other evaluations and studies of Drug Product and FDS processes.
Desired Majors and/or Skills:
- Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
- Experience with, or interest in, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Desired Education Level:
- Rising Soph., Rising Jr., or Rising Sr..
