Project Description: The Process Sciences Manufacturing Support Group gets its work from a variety of different sources including customer requests from Manufacturing personnel for on-the-floor deviations, statistical trend events observed at a cross functional data evaluation meeting, as well as atypical events observed from laboratory testing. The intern will evaluate the business in-and-outs of the Process Sciences Manufacturing Support Group, including investigational timelines and timeliness, inter-departmental communication for support requests, and responses to trend events. Additionally, the intern will evaluate the most frequent and time-consuming types and sections of investigations, and look for potential implementable solutions to improve timeliness without reducing quality. This project will interact with other IOPS groups, including Process Validation, IPC Development, Process Data Monitoring, Manufacturing, and Quality Control, in order to evaluate and improve the efficiency of the Process Sciences Manufacturing Support Group business processes.
