Project Description: The student will be responsible for developing a better understanding of the aspects affecting the accuracy and reliability of the Process Sciences HPLC assay for titer determination. The student will conduct an in-depth comparability study between the current standard curve and sample preparation methodologies with the goal of establishing an aligned set of best practices for the Process Sciences titer assay. They will investigate multiple contributing factors and will incorporate material from their own cell culture run for supporting data. The student will gain hands-on experience with upstream activities, analytical assays as well as statistical analysis using the data generated.
Desired Majors and/or Skills:

• Biological engineering, chemical engineering, life sciences or related discipline.

• Strong attention to details, motivated and a quick learner.

• Statistical analysis and/or proficiency with JMP are a plus.

Desired Education Level:
-Rising Junior or Senior.
