Bristol-Myers Squibb's Central Clinical Planning and Solutions ('CCPS') supports clinical development functions across exploratory, full and late phase development. CCPS teams focus on vendor and outsourcing management, contracts, grants management and payments, non-clinical research, financial and clinical trial transparency. They are tasked with establishing and maintaining harmonized, efficient, compliant and fit-for-purpose processes.

The NACC Grants Administration team is responsible for the processes associated with invoicing from external partners, ensuring compliance with terms of the contracts and delivery of services, and payment processing, reporting and management. The Grant Administrator carries out invoice processing, uploading and archiving activities, and monitors the Grant Administration mailbox.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor group invoice mailboxes to ensure invoice accuracy and distribution to the appropriate payments group
  • Manage the receipt, recording, uploading, processing, and tracking of invoices from vendors, investigative sites, etc.;
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices in order to achieve BMS supplier discounts and rebates
  • Manage relationship and interaction with operating groups to ensure timely approval of payments by executives with the appropriate Grant of Approval
  • Process invoices using appropriate Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) systems and/or coordination with outsourced / offshore service functions for appropriate payment
  • Verify all documentation relating to invoice processing is archived accurately and in a timely manner
  • Complete financial reconciliation to ensure invoices were appropriately paid and credits taken prior to operationally closing funds


Required Experience:
  • High School diploma minimum required
  • Some work experience
  • Demonstrated Excel and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint


Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
  • Experience with SAP, including reporting functionality
  • Knowledge of Ariba
  • Experience in financial, health sciences or related industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, hospital-based, laboratory, Contract Research Organizations ('CRO's))
  • Working knowledge of clinical trials, contracts and Scope of Work documents, Clinical Trial Management Systems and medical terminology


Other qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • US military experience will be considered towards industry experience requirements
