The Oncology group is looking for a Research Associate. The succesful candidate will play a key role in developing second generation bispecific antibody-drug conjugates, studying therapeutic antibodies against cell surface oncogenes and performing arrayed CRISPR screens.
The qualified individual will have a background in cell biology and some experience working with mice.

This position requires in vitro and in vivo work
In vitro skills:
Ability to simultaneously culture multiple cancer cell lines and maintain stocks of frozen cells
Experience in various cell biology and biochemistry assays, including but not limited to western blotting and immunoprecipitation, cell surface binding assays, internalization assays, cell killing assays, FACS, ELISA, etc.
Knowledge of CRISPR technology; experience with RNA manipulation, molecular cloning, transfections and PCR.
High content and confocal microscopy experience is a plus

In vivo skills:
Perform in vivo tumor studies
Protein/RNA extraction from mouse tissue and tumors for downstream assays

Maintain a clean, organized lab space.
Organize refrigerated space and make reagent inventory periodically.
Execute experiment, analyze results, troubleshoot whe necessary.
Propose ideas for technical or biological advancement.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration.
Maintain Electronic Leb Notebook (ELN) records

Core Competencies:
Highly organized and able to keep updated records of large high-content datasets.
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong knowledge in design and execution of cell-based experiments
Achieves goals in a timely manner in a fast-paced, dynamic multidisciplinary environment
Knowledge of cancer biology
Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience in industry

Cell culture, molecular cloning, transfections, western blot, microscopy, cell killing assays, high content microscopy, in vivo tumor studies, processing of animal tissues

This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.

Level will be commensurate with experience.
