Known for its scientific and operational excellence, Regeneron is a leading science-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, invents, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, atopic dermatitis and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, pain, cancer and infectious diseases.

Research Associates (RA) in the Formulation Development Group work in a state-of-the-art laboratory developing formulations for protein-based drug products and provide support to research, pre-clinical, clinical and manufacturing teams to move drugs from candidate selection and preclinical development to clinical development and commercialization. RAs will be responsible for evaluating novel delivery technologies, including controlled release formulations.

• Participate in synthesis, development, and assessment of existing or novel delivery systems for use with protein-based drugs for preclinical and Phase 1 clinical studies, and developing formulations or Phase 2/3 clinical studies and commercialization.

• Support development and stability testing of complex formulations with proteins and biomaterials

• Assist in the design and execution of studies to evaluate physicochemical properties of proteins, protein stability, and elucidate protein degradation mechanisms

• Work in cross-functional teams to support toxicology and PK/PD studies

• Implement analytical methods for proteins and biomaterials to support formulation development

• Maintain analytical equipment and support other lab organization tasks

• Process and analyze data and assist in writing, reviewing and editing technical reports
