This is a hybrid role that draws on both program management and operations skills. This role is responsible for facilitating and reporting upon critical Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) programs and activities across the various IT functions. The Program Manager will be tasked with developing programs to support the strategic security initiatives as well as establishing and managing long term goals. Additionally, this role is responsible for holistically managing programs throughout the lifecycle from initial inception to full operationalization.

Key Responsibilities Includes:

  • Coordinating program and operational activities to ensure the efficient and effective management of ISRM initiatives, enabling commitments to be met while minimizing unnecessary overhead throughout the process.
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the ISRM Organization.
  • Developing a budget and operating plans for programs.
  • Developing an evaluation methodology to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the group operations function, specifically in the areas of budget, planning, and efficient management of limited resources.
  • Manage cross-functional teams consisting of IT-minded resources to fully develop new capabilities and align operational expectations with service owners that may be outside the ISRM organization.
  • Working with IT and corporate communication leads to ensure proper service announcements and continuous communication throughout the implementation and rollout of new capabilities.
  • Development of operational plans to ensure that, once complete, projects are able to smoothly move to a run state.
  • Executing holistic analysis and planning addressing, but not limited to, program budgeting, resource requirements, and the necessary coordination with other functions.
  • Identify and assess program risks that are to be reported to senior management along with viable options to manage the risk.
  • Ensure proper reporting of KPI intended for publication in in an enterprise dashboard solution.

  • Bachelor's Degreepreferred (Business or IT-related major preferred)
  • 5-8 years of Program Management or direct IT experience Understanding, with applicable experience, in service definition and delivery
  • Experience working with cross functional business and IT teams
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration skills
  • Effective presentation and executive management communication skills
  • High level understanding of Information Security and Risk Management practices

Desired Experience:

  • 3 years or more of Change Management or Business Systems Analysis experience
  • 3 years or more of dedicated Project Management experience
