 Compugen USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Compugen Ltd., discovers and develops therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of cancer.  Working closely with colleagues in Holon, Israel, we are advancing multiple programs targeting novel immune modulators to reactivate the anti-tumor immune response.  We are seeking a skillful, dynamic and motivated SRA/RAII to join a team that will drive multiple antibody programs from project initiation through lead selection.  This position will offer excellent career growth opportunities to motivated individuals with an interest in working on the leading edge of first-in-class therapeutic development.

This is an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of hybridoma antibody discovery for immuno-oncology therapeutic candidates.  In this role, the successful candidate will take ownership of projects to select therapeutic leads by performing electro-fusions, screening antibody supernatants using various assays and expanding selected hybridomas for antibody production.  This is a critical role that enables therapeutic lead selection for the company and requires multi-tasking, attention to detail, great troubleshooting skills, thoughtful data analysis and presentation of work to project teams. 


  • Assess titers and perform electrofusions for hybridoma antibody generation
  • Screen hybridoma supernatants in binding and functional assays with purified antigens and cell lines
  • Culture hybridomas for scale up purification and recombinant and unmodified cell lines for assays
  • Coordinate production and delivery of candidate hybridomas with the Protein Science, Biophysical, and Immuno-oncology groups
  • Develop assays as needed to assess antibody characteristics
  • Improve efficiency by process optimization to enhance the quality of antibodies discovered
  • Present research to project teams and the Antibody Discovery group
  • Record detailed procedures and results


The ideal candidate will have the following background/skill set: 

  • Bachelors or Master degree in Biology or related field with >3 years biotech industry experience
  • Flow cytometry and cell culture experience
  • Experience with antibodies
  • Hybridoma, assay development and/or screening is a plus
  • Familiarity with antibody analytical methods and stability studies is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Data analysis and presentation using Microsoft Office Suite, Prism, Tableau, Vector NTI (or similar)
