Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic protein modeler at a Scientist I level to join the Protein Engineering Group. The candidate will be expected to lead a variety of protein engineering projects to optimize and generate differentiated antibody therapeutic leads.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist in protein engineering efforts to optimize antibodies and other proteins for biologics drug discovery.
- Analyze complex NGS datasets and create tools to analyze and visualize results
- Independently perform protein modeling and computational design with strong attention to requisite biologic response.
- Excellent written and oral skills are necessary.
- Accomplish goals under project team time lines.

1. Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, computational chemistry or similar field with 0-2 years of industry experience.
2. Working knowledge of state-of-the-art bioinformatics, computational biology, and protein/antibody modeling tools.
3. Excellent understanding of sequence and structure of antibody repertoires and bioinformatics tools utilized in their analysis
4. Experience in modeling, de novo prediction, structure visualization and analysis, docking, molecular dynamics, and structure-based drug design.
5. Programming experience in Perl, Python, R and working knowledge of Rosetta or similar computational packages.
6. Experience with high performance computing and/or cloud computing.
7. Demonstrated ability for deep and creative thinking.
8. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
9. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary biologics discovery team.
