Summary: Responsible for executing data analytics that impact overall supply chain projects. Generate tools and content to build data functionality supporting Material Planning processes. Participates in Material Planning processes and standardization initiatives. Monitors Supply Chain metrics to identify gaps in current processes, improve service levels to internal and external customers, reduce waste, and improve the value chain efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform complex data analysis to design and build ways to consolidate data associated with the Material Planning process; provide oversight of systems that facilitate transfer of demand and production requirement information across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning, and S&OP.

• Support S&OP systems through the development of databases and/or utiliziation of data entry forms and reports (potentially combined with Excel based spreadsheets and charts) to;
o Efficiently upload all planning information.
o Build and/or interpret queries and reports to provide ready-to-use excel / powerpoint friendly information from Microsoft Access.
o Support the Material Planning team to incorporate these queries and reports into day-to-day planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting needs.

• Build advanced ad-hoc queries and reports to gather and present information effectively to support resolution of urgent supply chain issues.

• Design novel Excel models, tools and templates by leveraging advanced formulae and programming.

• Develop analytics to identify and improve reporting efficiency.

• Develop and administer SharePoint sites to allow access to the routine reports and ad hoc information requests for all the supply chain stakeholders.

• Work with cross-functional groups to integrate systems and share data to meet business needs.

• Develop and track metrics to measure the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of data from stakeholders. Align across teams to improve reporting integrity.

• Provide support and tool or subject matter expertise to develop additional databases / reports. Document user requirements associated with development.

• Mentor and coach less experienced employees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and SharePoint.

• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate recommendations.
Education and Experience:

• BS/BA in business or scientific discipline and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
