The Organic Chemistry function of CSD is currently seeking talented individuals to join our team.

The successful candidate should have a bachelors or masters in organic chemistry, or a related field, additional industrial or academic experience is preferred but not essential. The successful individual should have a desire to be an active member of a world-leading scientific organization, be willing to participate in our highly collaborative research enterprise and be a strong advocate of safety. A track record of acting with speed, accountability, agility and integrity is critical. Located at our New Brunswick, NJ facility, the successful candidate joining our organization will:
  • Contribute through laboratory activities to develop chemical routes, manufacturing processes and scientific knowledge to support the development and commercialization of our portfolio.
  • Be independent and able to develop solutions to chemical problems.
  • Develop robust scientific knowledge and reports to support our development efforts.
  • Participate in the transfer of any developed processes to our partners in our Globally Integrated Network.
  • Contribute to our culture of safety.
  • Interface across CSD functional areas (analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, engineering and technologies) to execute on our integrated vision.


A Bachelors or Masters in Organic Chemistry, or related field, with a track record of academic excellence. 0-5 years of additional experience is preferred, but not essential.
